BNSS 1965 Alumni 60th Reunion

Wishing you all a happy New year and only the very best it can deliver! It’s our 60th reunion this year and we are organizing it for the last time. It gets tougher and tougher to keep track of all you alumni who are now making the move to downsize or otherwise change locations. Email addresses get changed and I am the last person you think of to update. I have my original contact information, and I can only hope that this invitation finds you. We’ve kept it simple and having it at the Vancouver Golf Club in Coquitlam on Thursday June 26th at 12:00 pm. The address is 771 Austin Avenue. (Link to Map) This time we are going to use eTransfers for payment rather than cheques (no longer a troglodyte!!!) so hopefully that will make it easier for most. Please pay by the end of May at the latest. I no longer have extra monies from past reunions, but we have been able to put together a nice buffet selection for the lunch (cash bar) and keep the cost down to $60/person as it was last time. (See menu below for your perusal). Inflation is a bummer!!!

What I require of you alumni is a fast response as to whether or not you will be attending the event. Please do this on receipt of this email. Numbers count for me as I have to provide them to the caterer and it affects the cost if the turnout is low. I know that those of you on the Island and in the Interior are having to bring travel expenses into the equation. I wish that there was an easy way to deal with this hurdle, but I can’t think of one that would be easy for me to do. I could let those on the Island and Interior know who, in your neck of the woods, is coming and maybe you could arrange something with them. I know that the last reunion didn’t have a great representation from those areas, and I do understand. I am just going to hope that this being the last one you might be able to make it. That would be a wonderful note to end on!
